Modus Operandi Production Music (MOPM) is the sonic DNA for visual storytellers who are looking for their own flexible soundtrack for daytime shows, news programming, reality TV, games, documentary, and longform visual productions of all kinds.
From our very first release, MOPM was created with editors in mind.
As you know, once you’ve tried to make a 2-minute production music cue extend over the duration of a longer spot, the annoyance of settling for an endless loop that never evolves (nor conforms to the arc of your story) can be impossibly frustrating.
In addition to each MOPM song having the industry standard full and alternate versions, we’ve also made sure that each and every song has at least two other songs that have been intentionally created with the same fundamental musical building blocks… key and tempo. Meaning there are virtually endless possibilities when you combine these 3 (or more) songs and their various alternates in your edit (not to mention all their related stem mixes), creating new mashups that work together harmoniously and allow you to add length and interest to your long(er)-form programming.
This innovative technique allows for much more expansive use in extended programming, podcast and interview backdrops, customized documentary soundscapes, and whatever else your creative brain dreams up.
