Shoulda Listened To My Girls (Single)

A modern country love letter to the friends who tried to warn you about your ex, featuring powerful vocals from Hannah Mrozak. (LMTL-043)

From the same pen that wrote the Win Some Lose Some (LMTL-037) and Dancing With The Devil (LMTL-036) comes an empowering modern country single. The narrator on Shoulda Listened To My Girls (LMTL-043) looks back at a relationship gone bad and sees the warnings she ignored from her friends. But instead of lingering in those mistakes, she celebrates a reliable squad that will be there no matter what.

This band was recorded live at Blackbird Studios in Nashville, produced by Daniel Holter, mixed by the award winning Ryan Gilligan, and written by Nashville songwriter by way of Wisconsin, Ryan Necci (Ryan Necci And The Buffalo Gospel). One of Necci’s many skills as a songwriter is that can put himself in anyone’s shoes. That authenticity and heart is then amplified by the compelling vocal performance of Hannah Mrozak (NBC’s The Voice, Citizen Queen).

“Shoulda Listened To My Girls” is a country gem ideal for dramas of all shapes and sizes, highlighting squads of badass women, post-break up nights out, or even scenes in a rom-com. The message is pure and genuine as they come, relatable for all of us regardless of your #squadgoals.
