Heading to more melodramatic and melancholy territory, “Leave Me Lonely” is a lover’s lament, left alone with her thoughts. Haunting guitars and electric piano bring a darker tonal palette to the story.
The EP finishes with a pop rock ballad throwback, starting with a bare piano intro before the full band enters to give “I Wouldn’t Change A Thing” a final, determined push. It’s a lovely and charming way to close the record.
