New Playlist Alert: Remember Football?
Remember football? It has its flaws, but it’s a game beloved by many an American sports fan. With hard hits, Hail Marys, and rowdy fans, football has been a part of our Sunday rituals for decades.
And while the Gridiron Gameday is still happening, our beloved Lambeau Field won’t be full for the first time since 1960 (yes, tickets have been sold out for sixty years), there will be no 12th man in Seattle, no stadiums singing the riff of “Seven Nation Army'', no (real) crowd noise to cause confusion and a delay of game on crucial third downs.
Armchair quarterbacks assemble. This is your time to shine as we witness the tackles and touchdowns from our respective couches, La-Z-Boys, and outdoor screens. Just remember, there’s always next season.
While fans sit at home, the soundtrack of football remains the same with big hip-hop beats, marching band percussion, inspirational cues, and some good old-fashioned rock & roll.

“Poptarts in the Skatepark”
Get pumped up with the juxtaposition of a drum corp line and distorted guitars. Percussive and rhythmic intensity cranked up to the max. Sounds like Sunday, or what we remember Sunday sounding like.
“One Last Chance”
It all comes down to this. Dramatic strings and epic trailer toms build the suspense as we gear up for every bone-crunching moment. For some, it’s their last chance to get the job done. Let’s hope they’ve got it in them.
“Remain Undefeated”
Introducing last year’s champions, the up and coming superstar, or the old gunslinger coming back to make this season count, asterisk and all. A big trap beat sets the stage, complete with sliced vocal samples and synths.
