Emphatic Elements

Our Picture Puncture label is home to some of our boldest, heroic, and most dynamic music. But it’s also where we keep our collection of bespoke workparts, unique sound design elements, and textures that contribute to a standout score.

These Emphatic Elements are the details that can transform kinda creepy into bone-chilling, adventurous into awe-inspiring, and curiosity into anticipation. Don’t underestimate the power of a musical accent.

Beast Beneath (PICX-017)

Included Elements: Submerged Signals, Otherworld Sweepers, Trailer Effects

Our Summary: A behemoth spin on Braam and trailer effects with storytellers in mind to deliver tension, low end, and noise sweep sound design for trailers, promos, in-game events, mnemonic explorations.

And don’t say we didn’t warn you with the track titled “This Will Destroy Your Speaker.”

Questions Remain (PICX-012)

Included Elements: Suspenseful Beds, Tension Builders, Curious Queries

Our Summary: Full of creeping dread? Lingering questions polluting the air? Stuck in a suspended dream state?

All of these questions and more are scored with a balance of sound design and minimal pads, modified orchestral elements, and more.
