Biorhythm Analysis
Studying the beauty of the biosphere with inquisitive textures, quiet curiosity, and gentle rhythms (MOPM-084)
This planet is a wondrous place, full of unexpected organisms and ecosystems that are waiting to be found, studied, appreciated. The intersection of biology and curiosity fuels the imagination and drives scientific discovery. That’s where we decided to set up shop for Biorhythm Analysis to capture moments of genuine wonder of the world that surrounds us.
The soundtrack of Biorhythm Analysis (MOPM-084) errs on the side of nature, utilizing mallets and a variety of hand percussion to give the album an underlying pulse. That organic heartbeat leans optimistic, hopeful, and reflective. It makes space for synth pads, guitar harmonics, piano, and strings to create a flowing atmosphere around each track. Richard Andrew Leverone Jr., Isabella Nichols, and Modus Operandi mastermind Sam Ecoff have created a peaceful collection that embodies the best of both worlds.
For longer edits, try starting with the bouncy and playful “Decisive Dimension” before transitioning to the dreamy magic of “Molecular Imaginings.” Both tracks have been intentionally written in the same tempo (120 BPM) and key (D Major), so they live together in perfect harmony. While you’re at it, you might throw “Microscopic Musings” in the mix as well.
We hear this album being utilized as acoustic underscores for commercials and advertising with a softer side or an eye on progress. Earth/Nature documentaries, drone or time-lapse footage, and anything with science or technology will fit right into this biosphere.
